In fact, this paint does not contain any henna; it is referred to as "henna" by convention, drawing an analogy with natural henna.
To apply a design on the skin, you need to cut off the very tip of the cone and squeeze its contents onto the skin to create patterns. Avoid applying the lines too thickly. The paint dries in about half an hour. After it dries, it should remain on the skin; there’s no need to wash or scrape it off, as the paint does not absorb into the skin.
For better adherence of "white henna" on the body, you can lightly spray the finished design with hairspray. Do not apply it to areas with folds, as the paint may peel off more easily there.
Designs made with this paint do not last 1-2 weeks like natural henna. These designs only remain on the skin for a few hours.
"White henna" for mehendi, which is acrylic-based, does not contain ammonia, PPD, or other harmful chemicals. It has undergone clinical testing and is safe for the skin. Nonetheless, it is recommended to perform an allergy test before use by applying a small amount of "white henna" to the skin. If no allergic reaction occurs within one to two hours, "white henna" can be used safely.
